We develop and supply hardware for arcade shooting. It maximizes the immersion of the game by implementing accurate hitting point analysis through the camera and realistic firearm recoil in conjunction with any shooting content presented by the customer.
Display Type
Projector/screen combinations and monitors are the most common. The projector is usually installed in a dark space, so it must be installed in a separate game space. On the other hand, the monitor can be installed anywhere in the room.
Characteristics | Projector | Monitor |
Resolution | No restriction (depends on projector and content resolution) | No restriction (depends on monitor/TV and content resolution) |
Camera installation | Fixed installation spaced apart from screen width | Installed on the muzzle of a simulated firearm |
Pros and cons | – Realize large screen at low cost – Calibration is required when the relative position of the screen and camera changes | – Clear image quality – Calibration is not required even when the distance between the monitor and the gun is changed |
Guns
First, as a wired AC gun, it is a simulated gun that uses an AC solenoid-type recoil device. Traditionally this type of gun is widely used. There is no need for a separate compressor, and since only a commercial electric power supply is used for recoil device, the recoil can be implemented economically. However, there are safety problems such as electric leakage or electric shock due to cable aging because high voltage electric line of AC 110~220V is drawn into the firearm. This type of gun is not frequently used recently.
Second, as a wired pneumatic firearm, a large compressor is attached to the outside of the simulated firearm, and the compressed air of 5~10 bar generated here is introduced into the firearm, and then the pneumatic solenoid valve is controlled in accordance with the trigger signal to fire it inside the firearm. Recoil force comes from the moves the weight attached to the pneumatic cylinder. If the durability of the reaction device is guaranteed, it can make a firearm with good reaction force and durability.
Third, as a wireless DC-type firearm, a battery resides inside the simulated firearm, and the electric power of the battery is controlled according to the trigger signal to turn on the DC solenoid connected to the weight to generate reaction force. No external compressor is required. It is a popular method in the arcade market since there is no risk of electric shock while generating reaction force only by charging.
Fourth, as a wireless pneumatic firearm, a product that generates a reaction force by attaching a small high-pressure tank with a level of 200 to 300 bar to the simulated firearm and controlling the high pressure of the air tank has recently been attempted. But due to the safety problem of the high-pressure tank, it has not been commercialized yet due to the difficulty of certification and lack of research on control methods that control high pressure to cause effective reaction.

Impact point analysis camera
There are two types of cameras used for impact point analysis, i.e., fixed camera and mobile camera.
A fixed camera is a camera installed at a specific fixed position from the screen, and it is possible to analyze the impact point location. However, if the distance or direction of camera relative to the screen changes, the camera needs to be re-calibrated, so it is usually used for the application where the screen and camera are fixed in the same structure and do not move relatively.
The mobile camera is a camera that is mainly mounted on a simulated firearm and used to analyze the location of the impact point, as well as to calculate the location of the firearm and the direction of the firearm, enabling more diverse types of applications. In addition, once the camera is calibrated, it can be used without additional calibration even if it moves relative to the screen.
